A Poem: Lost

When I lost you
I lost the move
that was within me.

How could’ve I have known
that you were keeping
that light alive.

How could I have known
the firing rage,
that was burning within me,
was only there
because you had the wood.

And when you left,
because you were the one that left.

That you were going to take
the wood with you.
